Might not have been the most flashy “learn something” I could have done, but a short while after I turn 30 I’m hoping that purchasing a home is in my near future and I’ve been recently more aware of how little I actually know about financing a home. I had my eyes on a couple real estate courses around the community colleges here in Southern California, but this one was the one I wanted to take the most for that reason exactly. Timing wasn’t the most idea as the course started about 2 weeks before my busy season ended at work, but the first couple weeks weren’t that bad!
Overall I really enjoyed the extra knowledge I received from this simple online course, but I quickly realized how much I do not miss school! Got my A in the class and called it quits on the second class I was going to add on (Escrow), I really missed all my extra lazy Sundays with no midnight deadlines etc.
