Skillet Lemon Chicken

Skillet fried Chicken

  • 4 chicken breasts – flattened
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced

Dredged the flattened chicken in the flour, then into the egg (make sure the yolk/whites are mixed prior to dredging). Heat oil into a skillet, add the garlic (30 seconds) then cook the chicken until done. Set aside.

Skillet Lemon Sauce

  • 1/2 lemon sliced thinly
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Whisk the wine, chicken broth, lemon juice and flour together in a bowl, and then using the same skillet pan above, heat until thickened. Plate your chicken and cover with the lemon sauce, add the thinly sliced lemons on top.

Serve with a veggies and a starch!
